A serene, sun-soaked destination. With the property's generous plot overlooking a tranquil pond, we recognised an extraordinary opportunity to create something exceptional: a private holiday retreat just steps from their home.
From a sloping, underutilised space with tired paving and little structure to a luxurious, multi-zoned garden with a stunning vaulted outdoor kitchen, spa area, and panoramic deck.
Design & Execution
Navigating sloped and uneven terrain adjacent to the pond while ensuring structural integrity for a cantilevered deck over water presented complex engineering requirements. We needed to coordinate spa installation with bespoke decking and drainage, balance the client's desire for minimalist aesthetics with warmth and character, and seamlessly integrate all services, into the design without compromising the clean lines.
We developed a concept balancing relaxed luxury with timeless materials, centred around a Cantilevered Deck that appears to float over the water. A soothing palette of Teak Composite Decking, Khandala Grey Porcelain Paving, and crisp White Silicone-rendered walls creates the perfect backdrop for our statement vaulted outdoor kitchen, finished in Western Red Cedar and fully equipped for year-round entertaining.
